Creating Memorials to Honor Fallen Veterans

Remembering the Heroes of Severna Park

A group of Severna Park businessmen, residents, Post 175 SAL members, and politicians are committed to building a new gazebo on the B&A bike trail in the area known as Hatten Regester Green (across from the Bandstand) on the Severna Park portion of the trail. This new Gazebo will replace the aging Gazebo and will be dedicated to Gold Star Families.

The fundamental roots of this project are the monuments to honor each of the four men from Severna Park who served in Operation Iraqi Freedom and Operating Enduring Freedom and lost their lives serving their country. All four grew up in Severna Park and were active in their community (schools, church, Green Hornets, Boy Scouts, Habitat for Humanity, etc.). A plaque for each of the four Heroes will be placed around the Gold Star Memorial.
